Milestone Sessions

Nestled between your little one’s newborn photoshoot and their first birthday cake smash is a magical season where they’re growing and changing by the month. These little changes happen in the blink of an eye and suddenly your three-month-old is giggling, your six-month-old is sitting up, and your nine-month-old is wobbling to crawl or stand. It’s worth capturing these moments before they become memories!

At 0–4 weeks, your baby is in the newborn stage, that’s where I capture those tiny details of fingers and toes and the sleepy, snuggly moments you’ll want to remember forever. By 6–8 weeks, they may be showing their first big smiles and discovering tummy time. At 4 months, they’re grabbing their favorite toys and becoming more expressive. Around 6 months, their personality is really starting to shine as they sit, laugh, and explore. By 9 months, they may be crawling, pulling up, or even standing on their own. And at 12 months, they’re ready to celebrate with their very first birthday cake smash! That’s how quickly your baby changes during their first year.

The beauty of milestone portraits isn’t just about documenting what your baby can do. It’s about capturing who they are becoming. It’s the way they scrunch their nose when they give a toothless smile. The little giggle they make when you ask about their favorite toy. The proud squeal when they stand for the very first time. These are the moments that seem small in the moment but become priceless memories later. I would love to be part of your family’s journey and help you preserve all those little moments that make your baby’s first year so unforgettable. My photography studio in Canton, GA has everything we need to capture all of the yummy details of your baby’s journey.
