Milestones Photo Sessions

So you’ve gotten your maternity and newborn photos, but it’s not quite first birthday time yet. You’re in that period where baby seems to be growing, learning something new, and developing their little personality every day… that’s the perfect time to get milestones portraits!

In your baby’s first year, they go through dozens of milestones which is why this type of portraiture is so unique and special. No two people grow at the same pace, so no two milestones can be set at an exact time. Three months, six months, and nine months are the most common to get milestones photos done, but milestones are less about the exact month and more about what’s special and worth celebrating to you!

At two months old, are they showing their first smiles? Sitting up by themselves at six months? Laughing and able to pick their favorite toy by nine months? Those are all examples of picture-worthy milestones! Those may look different for differently-abled children, or your favorite milestone of theirs can be something else unique to your child you want to have captured forever. That’s the beauty in sessions like these that are curated to the family, for the family, not based on a one size fits all timeline.
