Why choose an In-Home Newborn Session?
As a newborn photographer serving North Georgia, newborn photography truly is the heart of what I do. I offer five different newborn photography experiences because every family—and every season of new parenthood—looks a little different. But there’s something especially sweet about an in-home newborn session.
Studio newborn photography often focuses on your baby and all those tiny details you never want to forget—the little lashes, curled toes, wrinkly fingers, and sleepy expressions that change far too quickly.
An in-home newborn session tells a little more of the story.
It’s about your baby, of course, but it’s also about your family and the life you’re building together. It captures love where it actually lives: in your home.
Maybe it’s you feeding your baby in your favorite chair, soaking in a few quiet moments together. Tiny fingers wrapped around an older sibling’s hand. Your partner holding your newborn and realizing that somehow their whole world fits right there in their arms.
These sessions aren’t about creating perfectly posed moments. They’re about preserving the real ones.
The snuggles. The connection. The way everyone naturally gathers around this tiny new person who is already so deeply loved.
And one day, these photographs won’t just show your child what they looked like as a newborn. They’ll show them what it felt like to be loved in the place they first called home.
What’s Included in an In-Home Newborn Session
Your in-home newborn photography session includes up to one hour of photography in your home, with a beautiful mix of family connection and individual portraits of your baby.
You’ll also receive a full digital gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images ready to download, print, share, and—most importantly—keep.
Because this season is short. Your photographs shouldn’t just help you remember how tiny your baby was.
They should help you remember how this chapter felt.
If an in-home newborn session sounds like the perfect fit for your family, I’d love to tell you more about the newborn photography experiences I offer and help you choose the one that feels right for you.
