Milestone Sessions

In the months before your little one turns one, they are changing rapidly, and these moments of new development are incredibly fleeting. That’s why I offer Milestone Portraits, to honor these moments before they become memories! At four months, your baby may lift their head, and at nine months, they may crawl! Trust me, that is a blink of an eye.

It’s too easy to get caught in the whirlwind that is their first year and to completely miss documenting those precious milestones. That’s why you can book them in advance at common milestone markers or book them independently to mark milestones special to you! While the exact timelines look different for every child, the most common Milestone months are three months as they become aware, six months as they learn to play, and nine months as they can start moving independently.

The amazing thing about milestone photography, though, is that these traditional month markers don’t have to be what you base your milestones around. If it’s for their first smile, or maybe when they’ve chosen their first favorite toy… those are milestones worth capturing too! It’s about what is worth remembering for you!

These types of sessions are so special to me because they are often with families I’ve watched on their entire journey from maternity to newborn and now these milestones.
