So you’re looking for a newborn photographer? As a seasoned newborn photographer in north Georgia, I don’t just take pretty pictures. I dedicate myself to ensuring you and your baby’s time in my hands and home is as safe as it gets. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to make it happen, so let’s talk about that! 

It’s not just one class or certification; it’s constant learning. Multiple times a year I attend newborn safety and safely photographing newborn training sessions. Conferences that cover everything from soothing techniques and lighting, to blood circulation and airway flow. It’s not just about the result. Professional quality means I notice signs of distress. I only use poses that are safe on their little joints and not yet fused bones. I know that even the transition between poses needs to be handled with care.

I’ve worked with hundreds of families and what I can tell you is no two babies are the same in temperament or needs. That’s why my dedication to safety extends to those with special needs. I’ve worked with breathing tubes, delicate conditions, and shoots where the parents need to be more hands-on. I educate myself before and after so that every family gets the safe studio and beautiful pictures they deserve.
